XML Sitemap goes to Homepage

    I seem to have an issue with the xml sitemap. It doesn't look like it's suppose to, in fact it looks exactly like my homepage. I included the link to the sitemap down in my signature link. Also when I test the url with google webmaster tools I get this message.

    "Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead."

    I don't get it though, it seems to be an xml file. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

    If you are using Wordpress, then just try using Google XML sitemap generator Plugin. :)

    I use xml sitemap generator that works good.

    What the exact error showing? Mostly plugins generate sitemap and URL will be in this format
    http://www.yoursite.com/sitemap.xml
