xml site map or html site map

    I want to know about xml site map of html site map what is the difference between xml or html site map, which should we use in website which is useful in search engine..... Thanks in advance for all answer....

    xml sitemap is better for search engine compare to html sitemap.

    Yes, HTML sitemap is used for users and can be located at your homepage.
    Xmlsitemaps are used for search engines...mostly for google.

    html sitemps are for human visitors to make them aware of what all the things you have in your website, but xml sitemaps are for search engines. html sitemap may be linked in footer, xml sitemap should be provided in google webmaster tools.
