Hi, Please suggest me on XML sitemap for my company's newly started travel web directory: www.travellersquest.com. travellersquest.com is the main site (Home Page) and it has 6 other associated websites that work on individual domains. Should I make individual XML sitemaps for each sites and upload or can I make a single one for all the sites? Please suggest
You must create individual website for each domain and you should submit each website into Google webmaster tool..that is the best practice for multiple website of single owner
Thanks Seojig... Actually we get all the sites through homepage travellersquest.com. But other sites within open with their individual domain names. I am going to submit each website in webmaster tool. What I am confused is about XML sitemap. I need to know if I can built a single sitemap for whole site or I have to include individual XML sitemaps for each site... Thanks again
I have checked your website and found that all domain are getting mixed from section to section !! i am not sure main purpose behind mixing all domain to-gather but being a user i recommend keep them separate. you are having different niche, different target audience then mixing of domain can confuse the visitors...i understand the benefits of link juice but non relevancy in content will negatively affect the rankings. hope it will help
Thanks seojigI am getting help from all you friends' tips and adviceThe website is actually a directory that provides information on meaningful travelling oppurtunities as we can see on the menus: volunteer abroad, study abroad etc. The main purpose is to gather all these niche into main subject that is "meaningful travelling oppurtunities". And on the other hand these niche can act independently as well
