Another thing you can do is choose specific sections of the forum if you want by forumid. For example: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/external.php?forumids=3,5,34 That would give you a feed for just the Google, Coop Ad Network and Feedback/Suggestion forums.
you won't believe how hard i had to research for this information. i found a post about external.php but didn't know if i could get feeds for specific forum sections, so i then had to run this query - http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=link:http://forums.digitalpoint.com/external.php ...which fortunately took me to this thread. is this information purposely made difficult to find so as to prevent spammers from stealing your content? that's the only reason i can think of for not making it clear with a little xml button on each forum page
Hard to find ? Nah...! Just view the source of DP's Forum homepage, and you'll find this in the head section : <link type="application/rss+xml" title="Digital Point Forums RSS Feed" rel="alternate" href="external.php?type=RSS2" /> HTML: PS: you just bumped a 3.25 year old thread.
good point about the source code - i didn't think of that. about the thread age tho - is it a problem?
