xhtml or html4

    What difference XHTML and HTML 4, what advantages each ..?? Which is best for website :confused: :confused:

    Both are the current web standards, so both are alright. :)

    I would go for xhtml 1.0 though.. Anyway, look out for HTML 5 and CSS 3 which are going to be the next standard in a couple of years. ;)

    XHTML is XML formulated as HTML but since you are highly unlikely to serve XHTML as XHTML then HTML is the better choice.
