    Hello,

Sorry, I just started with the digital points advertising software a couple hours ago.. just got my first static link sale and wondering if I need to do anything to make it show up.. I /just/ approved it and am heading away from the computer for a little while so I didn't want to miss anything.. They haven't paid yet either though..

About how long does it take for them to show up after payment?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Static links are a unique advertisement type compared to the others. Since they are static for a month, and sold on a bid basis, bids run until the end of each month. So winning bids are finalized at 12:01 am (Pacific Time) on the 1st of each month. The winner(s) have their link shown for that calendar month.

    Sorry - another question :)

So.. I signed up towards the end of August - received two static link customers.. after reading your reply I assumed they'd go live on the 1st but I haven't been paid and they haven't gone live yet.. do you need to fill up the 5 spots for any to go live?

Well someone can create an ad to see if it will be approved, but they are not obligated to place a bid to run the ad every month. I suspect they just have to placed a bid yet. It does not require all 5 slots filled.
