I am planning on purchasing a forum license. I was a huge fan of vB 3.8. However, vB 4.0 does not look that great. They also increased their pricing. Apparently the original folks that coded vB left the company after it was purchased by Internet Brands, and started XenForo. XenForo looks a lot different than what I'm used to, but it's pretty cool. Backed by the original Jelsoft devs, I think it will overtake vB in the near future. What's your take?
