    I am working on a saltwater fishing forum with a WP home page/layout integrated with XF?

    Does anyone have any advice for successful integration? any Particular addon's that work or don't work well?

    Also, we used the XF-wordpress bridge by Faeroncorp it seems to work OK so far.

    I dont typically suggest merging login routines between the forum and wordpress. You largely just add a range of things into the equation that can break for no real reason.

    The only need to do this is if literally every forum member needs to be granted writing privileges on WP.
    I have yet to see a scenario where this is a good idea.

    I agree with the above. Unless every user in the forum is going to be an author on the forum, there is no need.

    If you dont mind me asking why are you integrading WP with XF? There are other options for XF Home page that i think would work well..

    Thanks for the replies.
    I was just wanting a WP home page and other pages as I am eventually going to be adding a large storefront and more to the site.
    So I figured WP was best way to go.
