    not 100%, its hard to tackle them all... however speculation and comments from SEO professionals do happen to mention that the site must be compliant. focus on broken links and unclosed tags!

    once again, when it comes to google, i've read articles stating that they DO NOT consider w3c compliance, but google arent they only search engine on earth + nevertheless, there are a few errors which could be penalised by google.
