Word of advice for what it's worth, you'd be better off bringing it down a lot, you probably won't get low x,xxx for it, let alone high x,xxx. Look at some other sites on DP and how much they earn (even the beautiful ones), and you'll see how much you have overvalued. $4/mo is not a great deal, and although it has potential to make money - so does every site potentially. I'd say what the others have offered is pretty generous.

There's not too many forums that have a nice looking website like this!!! Both Joomla and Vbulletin combined with tons of mods to implement!!!

I will agree that what he is asking is too rich for my blood, even though I would love to have the site. But it is wrong to come in bashing his asking price and his site. He has the right to ask what he wants. If you don't want to pay what he's asking, then I would just move along instead of posting and being negative. Who knows, he's already got a bid of $1000. And I do know the potential of a site like this because I am an avid gamer myself.

I agree with webbiz123, if you had a gaming tournament going on for the site as well, I could see this site being worth what you're asking if not more.

I will agree with the other statements that it may be high right now, but on the net you have to take potential into mind as well. Same way as when you purchase a brick and mortar business. People ask a million dollars for an acre of land just because of it's potential being close to a big business, so why can't he ask high because of potential.

Not trying to start an argument or get on anyone's bad side, just making a point that everyone has an asking price and if you aren't willing to pay even close to it, there's no point in even bothering. Sometimes it's better to not offer at all than insult the seller.
