You can host tournaments and make a great deal of money. Reason I'm selling it is I'm changing professions, I'm going to be working 12 hours a day and that doesn't leave much room for moderating a forum.

I'vegot $500... unless its making revenue I dont think yu're going to get much more than that.

Yes it's making revenue through Adsense! I will get some stats up later... I received a sponsor last month, pays around $15 monthly. You really can't go by adsense because forums do not have a big click through rate!!!!

Just to show you how much direct xbox traffic I'm getting...I put this up for sale last may. I only had 600 members, here's the link. The site now has 1500 xbox members. That's quite an increase for not doing any paid advertising at all. I'm sure if you hosted a few tournaments you could make some real money. Plus I don't have any ads on the frontpage!

I did get an offer of $1000 last may. Since than it has more than doubled its members and clans. I'm looking for at least $3000.

Like I said, I think the domain alone is worth around $500-$1000. It has some major keywords in it!!! I bet if you used VBseo you could really drive some major traffic to this site.

I really don't have to sell, I'm just looking to sell it because I'm taking a new job that will have me working around 60-80 hours a week, doesn't leave much room for a moderating a forum.

I've been waiting for vbulletin.org to come out with a mod for clans, this would really help boost the site! Here's a coder that is working on it link, another link

I would be intrested in making a bid but not quite for 3k. I like the website but the majority of clan forums are inactive and most of the main forums only receive a few posts between them a day. I think my main intrest would not be in developing the site further but using the site to deliver traffic to one of my new sites still in the development. Is the VB license included? if so is it owned or leased?

 

You know what I think I'm going to hold off on the sale. I actually think the site is worth more than $3k.

I mean when I'm getting 5-10 new members a day on a forum, I think that's a great amount of traffic, especially for 1 year old forum.

I see you have a xbox forum, give it a year and see if you have as many members as me. Getting traffic to your forum is very hard to do, you'll find that out down the road...

 

Yes i agree its quite hard, my main concern isnt members at the moment but in developing the databases and site. I can see youve put a lot of hard work into your forum, you just need to increase activity and i think more people would be intrested. If you get 1 new member or 100 new members a day is irrelevant if they are not active members, out of intrest how many active members does your forum have since i cant see because youve disabled the option?

 

you should put claxon ads in they give you money for each visitor not for each click makes me money better then adsense because on one of my websites i dont get alot of click rate eather.

 

yes, can I see you enable the # of active users option, so I can see the activity in the forum at different time slot.
