You may all you coders laugh at me, I don't understand how you can just code in notepad knowing exactly what your page will look like. Anyway :

I use Dreamweaver and never did with CMS, but what is the simplest :

a WYSIWYG software (like dreamweaver) or CMS ?

Do you get the same results ?

    Thank You.

I think you have your terms mixed up. Many CMSes have WYSIWYG built in.

As T0PS3O already said you are confusing things. Do you mean bbcode/markup like the ones used in wikis? Either way WYSIWYG is usually the most user friendly, but also happens to be the least flexible one.

As T0PS30 pointed out - most of the CMSs online have a WYSIWYG editor built in to help you create the HTML code.

Expressions (the newest MS Frontpage and baby brother to Sharepoint) creates very good and compliant (X)HTML coding. I just created on site in Expressions and everything validated. I am using Sharepoint 2007 now - which is overkill for a lot of users but it is just as good as Expressions.

I just recently installed Dreamweaver once again and it seems to be pretty good as well. I have always used Frontpage and as usually always been very pleased with the new editions.
