I'm looking for an open-sourced WYSIWYG HTML editor (With Drag and Drop functionality) to be used for a CMS project I'm working on. Please share any resources you may be aware of.

I second ckeditor. I've used it on both wordpress and non-wordpress sites. Nice editor.

The best is ckeditor. It's the continue of fckeditor. And for uploading flies, you can use ckfinder.

Gotta be careful having the upload feature, can some times be a way for hackers to get in.

I used ckfinder for years but the latest version is a dog and I've changed to kcfinder.
too true, find a way to only give upload rights to trusted users.

Why do you say it's a dog? I've been using the latest version for Wordpress and it works great for me. Curious why you don't like it. Only slight negative is that you can't right click to copy or paste, have to use the keyboard. But that's not a huge issue.

What is the difference with KCfinder?

I use to use Ultimate Tiny MCE and it kept re-formatting my text after loading the post up again. Very frustrating.

    ckeditor is wonderful
I couldn't get ckfinder to work with the folder structure I have despite it being fine in earlier versions. There are only so many hours you can waste trawling through code to find out why something doesn't work.
