I have just finished my new website http://www.whois-lookup.info What do you think? Something to change? Or to add?
Looks great. The main page is clean, neat, and practical. When you perform a look up, some of the text goes out of the box on the right, though.
Clean, I like it. But there's too much space between the "lookup" button and the copyright info, causing the scrollbar to appear on my browser. Intentional? So the results page and the first one create the scrollbar? And the page is *this* close from validating with w3c. Might be worth to do it, you only have to add some double quotes and close some <p's.
reminds me of ajaxwhois.com looks nice though though on some whois, the text in the result box still goes out
Yes that was intentional, but I didn't think about scrollbar. Now there shouldn't be scrollbar on 1024x768(still present on 800x600 but I will leave that like that). I have validated html and css was already valid. Thanks for pointing that out.
I admit I was inspired with ajaxwhois but didn't want to clone it. I tried with orange instead of green first but gave up because "Green is good for your eyes"
my fav whois site is whois.ws there extended information and screenshot is really cool. maybe you could add somethign like that to yours and then it'll be really nice
