www.webpronews.com is keep spamming me, what can i do?

    Hi guys,
    I don't know where they got my email from but they everyday at least 5 times emailing me. Im really fed up with them.
    What can i do? Actually i know what to do but i wanna take legal action first...

    Did you submitted your site in free directories? Last year they bought a lot free and paid directory for collecting email address.

    I'm tired of getting their spamming too :mad:

    unfortunately i did!!!

    They don't have any contact infor in their site but i filled the advertising form which i did swear a lot, i recommend you to do it too.

    Taking legal action would be expensive and probably a waste of time. Just set your email account up to block emails from his address, should take you like 30 seconds.

    Report them to their host, probably wont do anything but its the most you can do.

    There you go. It works. I have that problem with a TON of companies. It's a lot less of a pain in the ars than the spam!

    One thing you could do is get in touch with their upstream.

    Get the IP of their website/mail server (for example, use : ping domain.com)

    Then put the IP in arin.net/whois and check to see who the abuse handler is. Get in touch with them, attach the full spam email (so the upstream can scan the headers).

    I always use a different email address then my main one when submitting to directories.
