www version runs OK where as Withou WWW gives 404 ?

    Hey guys i am confused about this two versions of URL. one is running fine where as other gives 404.

    Can anyone explain me logic behind this?

    If this is on your own server, I can guarantee it is either the .htaccess or vhosts. Do you manage this yourself?
