Should I even consider pay this guys around 30 USD for getting included in theyre "75 000" search engines and web directories?! Does anybody tried them or something similar?! is it working/worsing those money?! If I will buy that package for 1 new domain name, what PR I will get on next google update?! if anybody knows?!
NO! Submitting to search engines is not the 2005 way of promoting. Instead.. lets ensure that your link is wellspread on the web so all search engines can pick you up.
There arent 75000 search engines. Theres 3 (well for all real purposes) and you can get in those just by putting your link in your signature here.
Do not use these guys, they are a bunch of thieves, I personally know the guys responsible for the site and they are rip-offs stay away from these guys, Do not use them, they will steal your money, they originally offered their services to me for $1000 a month, again stay very far away from them. they are evil people do-not give them a penny, you will regret it. STAY AWAY
I am the President of Submit Express. From your profile I see that your site is NYCFASHIONS.NET and your name in your WHOIS account is Lincoln Brown. I have checked our client databases and I do not show that you were ever our client based on your URL, name and address from your WHOIS and website. You are cliaming we offered services to you for $1000, so that means you didn't actually sign up! So how could you claim that if someone is offering services for $1000 is a rip off??? And if you personally know us, then prove it and explain what we did to rip you off??? We have been in business since 1998 and if you check our BBB records you will see that we have AAA rating. We are one of the few SEO companies that offer SEO services with guaranteed Top 10 results for most sites or your money back. We are able to get top results by natural optimization and link popularity. We rank #1 for "search engine optimization" in Google and similar terms and also in other engines. As for as the 75,000 service goes, we have had that service since 1999 and we never discontinued it due to its popularity. There are not 75,000 search engines and we do not claim that! Some search engines, some are directories and some are Free For All Links pages. The service also includes a manual ranking advice by one of our optimizers, which in itself is easily worth the $24.95 fee. We actually do an indepth review of your site and give you a one page adsvice via email on what you can do to improve your rankings and tell you about any problems we find on your site.
Excuse me??? How is that scam if you pay someone to do work for you that would take you hours or days or months of research? How is it scam if they would provide you email advice on what you can do to get your site rankings improved before they submit you. Did you know that if you do not have at least one link to your site you may not even get indexed in Yahoo, Google and some other engines??? Well you probably know a little about SEO, but many of people that order our service don't and we take the time to tell them these things before submissions...such as the need to have their keywords in their title tags and content, having many links, etc... Don't open your mouth before you know exactly what it is that we do. Do you also know that Yahoo has a paid inclusion serviceguaranteeing a crawl of your site every 48 hours for a fee??? Are they also a scam??? We offer this service from our site too: http://www.submitexpress.com/overture.html
submitx, see that little red box next to the two posters' names? That typically means that they are morons, jerks or both!
Thanks I am glad you made that clear. I just joined this forum. These guys do seem like morons. Who decides to make them red? Is there some kind of voting system? Please PM me on this.
If I might chime in with a couple points: 1. Just because you don't think a service is worth a hill of beans to you, does not mean it is a "scam". A "scam" would be paying for a service and not receiving it or buying an item and realizing it was not as described. 2. As to the original question, no I would never pay anyone a penny to submit my website to search engines. I don't care if it was one or a million. If you want to, be my guest. There are "technically" tens of thousands of search engines out there. However, most are just automated garbage and really the whole point of marketing is to gain eyeballs. This leads us to the importance of being in the search engines that will give you the opportunity to accomplish your task--namely Google, MSN and Yahoo. To get in these search engines, simply gain links from other site's they have already indexed and wait. It is free and easy. Now, if you want to pay someone to manually submit your website to many "directories", that is different.
These guys are no good. Avoid them at all cost. Wow ohh wow someone learned how to use a whois function , I'am so scared, a friend of mine told me to post on here and let people know Submitexpress was a scam and thats what I did. Use them at your own risk.
So if your friend tells you to jump off a cliff, you would do that??? So now you are saying you never contacted us in the first place and you lied?
No I've posted all over the place regarding submitexpress and their fraudulent ways, and I've told alot of people to avoid them such as customers looking to optimize their sites that I have dealt with.
the long answer is HELL NO to the search engine submissions! I have however used directory submission services. www.directory-submission.net is one that I have used with sucess in the past.
There are only 4 SE's you have to consider: Google, MSN, Yahoo and Ask Jeeves - they provide ~ 98% of all the traffic. Getting listed isn't that difficult: Do some postings on forums and provide a link back to your web site in your sig file. Directories? Google likes "quality" inbound links, so maybe you should submit to some directories with a high PR (try DMOZ and ZEAL), some second tier directories and niche directories. Consider also link exchanges with other sites in your niche. Don't bother using any of the programs that submit to 100000000... engines and directories.
