Hey all, I just started a new links directory and wanted to get an opinion on the little tweaks and color combo that i have used. Please let me know what you think about the site. Link : Sc2.info - SEO Care v2 Links Directory. Thanx. Admans.
Well, this is nice, these shades of green are pretty cool, but there are a few things I don't like.. First of all the non-moving background makes scrolling appear slow (more like dragging). I don't think you gain much by having it non-motionable so I would suggest you just have it scroll with the content. Only that would better the overall experience alot. Another thing I don't like is the way links move when you hover over them because since the hover makes the text bold and all capital it makes it wider. This is yet another "trick" some people like to use, but I dislike having the content on the page appear like resizing, almost jumping, when I hover over it. Also, maybe it would be good to have the background of the actual directory section just white, or some whiteish color with a tiny border. That would make it appear like floating over that green pattern background for the rest of the site. Just some well minded suggestions. Good luck Daniel
THanx for ur sincere advice.. i would surely make the recommended amendments...thanx a lot for reviewing..ne1 else having any more suggestiosn...?
i agree with libervisco "Also, maybe it would be good to have the background of the actual directory section just white, or some whiteish color with a tiny border. That would make it appear like floating over that green pattern background for the rest of the site." Try put something or background or different background colr at the directory section.. it will attract visitors eye.. at this moment, your directory section did not attract much of my attention because for me, that section looks the same like the rest of your other section. regards
it's clean simple organize but i agree with liam i don't understand the logo (SORRY) i think you need something more graphic to stand up in your page
