Hello, I just started a forum: www.realsweeps.com. I started two days ago, so I don't have much members.. Anyways, the forum is about sweepstakes, instant win games, and freebies. basically, I want others to come and post sweeps. Did I choose the right domain? Can you rate the forum? Did I write too much? (20 forums in totals) Did I write too much and made other users confused? Also: I submitted my new URL to google 2 days earlier and still haven't got listed.. Does anyone know what happened? THANKS. (Edit: also, how would I be able to bring in members without spending $$?)
'The Mega Sweep Source' should be a bit more descriptive. Maybe you should write a paragraph on what's the site is about. Also, the dark green title background seems a bit too poisonous. Try something lighter.
Hi, How do you think I can increase my traffic? I know that I'm not indexed on google.com yet.. when it does, would it bring traffic? How do you guys promote your forums? I really see no way of advertising.. (I don't know how or where I should do it) Thanks.
I would suggest that you write 3-4 articles and post them on you site. That should make it easier to get rankings for your forum, and also attract new visitors.
Green doesn’t create not very pleasant feeling of the forum. But if you like it then make it more easy and pastel. I think that some graphics in the header section will make it really improved.
The dark blue looks fine to me. I would still put a passage at the top of your page explaining what the site is about and what members gain by joining up etc. I would also make the template a little thinner, just so you have a bit of clear space either side of the page, this will make it look less busy to the eye!
