i think this is a valid discussion here..jsut wondering..does anybody type "www" when typing in an address?? i know i dont...it works for me 98% of the time..but then there are those annoying once in a blue moon websites that only work with the "www"
i usually don't watse my time typing in www, i think it makes no difference either way, and you shouldn't spend more than 15 seconds thinking about it
I don't type in the www and I don't use the www when I link to my website either as it just looks better in the serps I think.
Some domains look best with www and others not, particularly those info, name, etc. suit best without them. Personally I don't type them except when I don't get a site... ridiculous but many websites still need www in order to work.
If I have a site in my bookmarks, then I usually set a keyword to it. To get to these forums I just have to type "book dpf" so I never remember URLs enough to write them xP
