    I've noticed this before, but saw it again today and thought someone here might know what this is...

    When pinging www.google.com, the ping tool said this:

    As you can see, ping is actually pinging www.l.google.com instead of plain old www.google.com. When surfing to www.l.google.com I just got the normal google.

    Anyone has any clues on this? 'S been bothering me :rolleyes:

    Hehe, www.l.google.com is really the unprotected Google Admin Panel which you can adjust your pagerank and increase your SERPs with just a few clicks of the button.

    Yes I just noticed it to, what has Google installed on my system that pings when not browsing, are they tracking just more then what web sites we visit.
    This may be an old thread but is there anyone who knows the answer???
