    ripmichaeljackson.com went over $1000 on ebay I sold a site similar for $30 it was .com guess it depends on the name.

    and to the people who are crying that it's wrong it's not like you're exploiting the death you're just selling a domain name to someone who is actually going to use it I've seen these domains go for a lot and they end up becoming honest sites. The real people who are exploiting these deaths are those who sell things outside of the funeral. I passed by jackson's funeral since I live nearby and there were people selling shirts, hats, jewelry, posters, etc.
