I had trouble reading this line in the header "Free Beginner Website Tutorials - How To Make A Website". I think you should play with the font color a bit more.

I'm trying to keep the site as simple as possible.

 

Your site is pretty good I would just change some of the clickable options.

 

wew... music background was frigtened me.
Over all your design is too simple. But, it's not a big problem.
Because IMHO, simple design layout is easy to familiarize to your newest visitor.

 

the google checkout link doesn't work, shouldn't have the www before
