Hello everybody, I need an appraisal for www.draft.name domain. I just checked out the Nick thread (sticky) in which 10 points are mentioned and seems like my domain is well $$$$ 1) TLD. (Extension of the domain name) A: Not a .com , so as far as TLD is concerned its not prime. But the fact that no other TLD is left for draft should make it most wanted. 2) Keyword itself (The domain name without extension) A: Its 'draft' . It is indeed a solid keyword. 3) OVT (The Overture of the particular name with or without extension) A: The overture data for this one is pretty good. Check out here http://www.pixelfast.com/overture with keyword - draft 4) Length of Domain name. (Like 3 letters or 4 letters) A: Just 5 Letter. Thats cool ain't it? 5) Dictionary word or not. A: Again a Dictionary word 6) Pronounceable (The sounding and the pronounce ability) A: I don't have a problem is pronouncing - Draft 7) Brand able (Best example Google.com) A: Not sure about this one though. 8) Singular or Plural A: Singular 9) Keyboard relation (Some people look at it that if the domain is easily type able or not) A: Very easy to type. 10) Google results (This also some people consider while buying the domain name) A: Try it yourself. So after going through this I feel its a premium domain. However, I would like to know how much do you consider the value of this domain. Thanks, Abhilash.
.name is a terrible tld. I've only seen one or two good .name sales. (loans.name was sold for $1000). Low $xx.
Yes, it's not the best TLD in the world! Develop it and concentrate getting traffic to your site, but you will be lucky to get mid to high $xx for it. Good luck.
.NAME domains are worthless in the aftermarket at the moment. Sorry to say, draft.name is not a premium domain no matter how you look at it.
