    The update is not over. I think google is still updating all inner pages.

    Dirjournal blog and submit page are PR6, but categories still n/a. We will have to wait longer to see changes.

    My PR2 directory is slowly getting PR1 1st and 2nd level categories ;)

    Always liked the design. Try using sitemaps to get the topic pages cached. A directory without a lot of cached topic pages is either very new or has search engine crawling problems.

    Hi stoner, ive just been reading your blog post.

    Anybody with Google advertising on their website had best have one hell of a website or you will not be accepted. It makes me want to puke to think that I might be contributing to the support of the Google internet monopoly.

    Im guessing your joking? regarding the google advertising.:)
    And regarding you not wanting to support googles internet monopoly, i can assure you that you will always be supporting google, indirectly maybe, but unless you quit online business and the WWW in general then you will always be doing something for them.

    Wait until they find a way into your offline living. ;)

    I’m not joking about Google advertising at all. Unless the reviewing editor considers it a valuable internet resource it will be rejected. I will do as little as possible to generate Google income from my directories. If more editors took action instead of crying about Google they might not be as flagrantly abusive. Webmasters keep the internet going not the almighty Google.
