The blue text on the blue background could use a little more contrast IMO. Some neat toys on there

 

Seems a bit childlike.

Great idea for a site. I am always researching and looking for better ways for my company and myself to go green.

I know you are in the beginning stages, but I would rethink your colors a bit, or at least add more color. Between the blue text, background, google advertising box, etc..there is just a lot of blue going on. Looks cold to me, like blue christmas lights always look cold. Add some color and will brighten your site and make things look warmer.

i am working on a new template at the moment with more colors, to make it a least looking a little bit warmer.
