    You may have heard that some guys were selling their blog community web site on eBay. Well I guess it sold for $2,425. It seems it is quite popular to sell websites on eBay. I can't help but think that most of the sites suck, and people are just being duped into buying some hack job. Anyone been involved at either end of a website sale on eBay?

    I've tried to find sites to buy on ebay, but you have to wade through SO much crap to really find anything- and usually then, it's priced at more than it's worth

    Well that's why I got it originally of course. It was a possible future project when I got the domain but since then the market has got pretty saturated with seo and e-marketing blogs.

    I wasn't thinking of selling it, just putting it to good use. I have thought of a few possibilities like some kind of collaborative effort by people who know what they are talking about, or a best of the SEO blogs, or a 101 tutorial in weekly parts.

    So far though I haven't thought of anything which makes me really want to run with it....

    i sold a telephone number on there one time that went for £2,300 for a pay as you go sim card. i used to money to invest in a file sharing site whice is still going strong.
