    www1 is notthing but just a subdomain .. some sites use normally if they have multiple servers

    AFAIK it's just another subdomain, probably setup for additional client side processing or to keep things separate inside the "flow of pages" on the website. Like www.example.com, www1.example.com, ns1.example.com, ns2.example.com, my guess is the website owner is using a separate web server that does something special, in addition to the regular root web server.
