If you are not a premium user, your files are protected for 30 days from upload. After that, they are subject to deletion.

Can anybody here tell me how to upload via remote links from Filesonic,oron,fileserve etc. I use just WU link to upload with remote bcz just WU links works for remote.
Im new at ppd .

 

I was looking for information about free user file expiration date, and i did not find any official statement. You should mention it on "make money" page, thats very important information.

I had premium for some time, thats why i didnt notice sudden dissapearance, and had months old files without problem. I still have some old files, so it seems its not very accurate.

However, as i asked before is there a possibility to recover these files? I don't mind upgrading to premium as long as they will work. Otherwise it will be hours of editing, and i would rather mass delete links than waste so much time.

 

Usually files are only deleted if they haven't been downloaded by anyone in 30 days. that's how other hosts that I know of work. so that's why some of your files are still there. and i'm pretty sure you can't get them back. they'll have been deleted.

And the FTP? I've not been able to upload for the last 3 hours. And with all due respect, once you get it working it'll probably go down again tomorrow... ad nauseum.

My sincere apologies for the issues which affiliates have been facing today - we are working as hard as we can to fix them, but there is an issue which unfortunately is out of our hands:

We had new servers delivered which were defective and we are awaiting replacement servers, which are late.

At the moment, the entirety of our tech team is pulling overtime to manage the traffic from server to server to ensure that we can get the uploads working, but until these new servers arrive, it will require some patience.

So what I thought. It's common that files are deleted after 30+ days from last download. But on wupload it turns out that they are gone after 30 days of upload, which basically means free affiliate account aint worth much. I wouldnt care that much about losing not downloaded files, but losing lots of active is very annoying :<

So, Willy is there something you could do about it?

How is remote upload from filesonic working, when it is working?
I've tried 2 days ago and 99% of my files came up with an error, now i tried it again and 50% got rejected, then just few more but finally after putting them for 3 times they all got uploaded. Does it depend on your current technical issues or it's just not working that well?
Also thanks for informing us and i hope you'll get your replacement servers soon.

it would be great if we have a secondary password for file delete, whenever uploader want to delete file from his account it will ask for a seconday password. you might be say if the hacker get login password he will know the file deleted password as well, but uploader delete his file rarely so very little chance. i requesting this feature, because if uploader account get hack, the internet joker can delete all of his file instant.

when i put the links and click Upload is show only white/blank pages.

 

Web upload is not working from my end, but RU is working great

 

i understand there are some technical problems..but web upload died 100%
ftp-also died, cant connect at all

Can you give me an approximate time (server time) that you experienced this? Also, what browser were you using?

I just tested Web Upload and it was working fine for me!
