    Why would we choose to only block UK users? I don't understand the logic...

    As per the 40/1000 downloads - how is this different than any other file host? UploadStation pays $32/1000 downloads - but of course, there is a PPD grid associated, just like us, just like every other file host affiliate program ;)

    As for the subscription, that is simply not true - we do have 30 days premium.

    Those are simply the plans we are focusing on right now, but as I've mentioned before - as well as the original post - we are setting up custom plans for users which, yes, can include renewals!

    I am asking about Wupload here, why do you offer up to 40$ per 1000 downloads if you don't pay it?

    Are you telling me that i am a liar? The proof is on your website, even if i try ordering 30 days premium it forces the payment to renew after 30 days,

    Telling uk users they have to buy premium membership to download is one reason you will block there downloads

    i love wupload because they count ALL downloads, and the support is magnificent!!!! thanks willy, my referral campaign is working like clockwork and the payments are unexpectedly high. if you keep it like this... you got me for life! lol

    We don't force anybody to renew - it is a subscription - you can turn this off.

    With the UK, the issue is, your IP changes depending on the host - and pages within the host. We identify FREE users by their IPs, so what happens is it shows that the person requesting the download is different than the person the download is going to, which elicits this prompt.

    The reason why it suggests premium is because we identify premium users by their ID, not their ISP. Anybody who has this issue can contact me, I will give you a trial premium and you can tell me if your experience changes ;) Otherwise, the theory that we would arbitrarily block UK free downloads but not the other two countries in A, Germany and the US, just doesn't make sense.

    We absolutely pay $40/1000 downloads - as long as the file is over 2048+ MB! It is a 6th level on the PPD grid, where most filehosts have only 5, which caps at 450 MB - we offer this as an additional earning for users who upload LARGE files!

    Mainly i went to FSo as they supported items up to 5 GB, now i switched to WU as they support up to 10 GB... still i must let go a lot of items, for me... unlimited filesize would do it, can we talk about this ?... Thanks

    @wupload - how about this then make the download link valid for ANY IP for 6 hours or w/e but make it only valid once... instead of IP lock, this way it can only be downloaded once so not much change yet bypasses this "UK thing"

    I run a filehost myself and there is ways of getting arruond this if you cannot restrict free users downloads, The answer is not giving up on all downloads from uk ips,

    What you can do is tell them they can only download by registering on the website as a free/premium user not just allow premium users, then you can only make uk isps download while logged in and you can restrict there downloads like that.

    No need for an it deparement to figure that out :p
