FTP is working fine, we just have a lot of traffic going through it right now. We will doing some hardware upgrades in the very near future that will be adding a large number of available ports!

Are you getting an error or is it just slow?

I put a movie to remote from FSo to WU half an hour ago and it still stands in queue, can you please try to improve RU. I know that you have a lot of traffic but it is really annoying.

Willy i have a question, i want to change my IP adress from my ISP, if i do so, when i login my Wupload account will i get baned or something because i want to change my IP adress but i what to know from you if its ok!

Sorry to have to say but upload is painfully slow right now - I'm upping from my 100Mb server and it's like waiting for paint to dry lol. (other hosts are super fast so it's not my server)
At the moment I'm upping to s52 - I'm not using ftp, but rather 'pushing' the files from my end over a http connection via my (private) rapidleech script. I would say I'm getting fluctuating upload speeds of between less than 50k up to 250k ish, but the average is closer to the 50k than the 250k. At times it's all but stalled completely.

Now upping to s63 - much faster but it keeps stalling for a few seconds, then recovering and uploading at 'reasonable' speed.
Edit - it was ok up to about 50%, then it went into crawl speed and is just as bad as s52.

Upping to s55 - average of about 400k but it keeps freezing for a few seconds every 20 seconds or so. Edit - upload froze permanently at 36.61%. Now I have to re-set everything and start again.

I tried a few downloads (just random crap) and found that although 1 or 2 files came in at reasonable speeds, most where mind numbingly slow. This was the case for both downloads to my home pc and also directly to my server (sorry but don't know what the individual wu servers where).

Just for info - I'm in the UK, and my server is offshore Netherlands.

Sorry to bring bad news Willy, but it's been like this for a while now so I thought I should mention it and give you as much info as possible.


EDIT: Now uploading to s70 at a wopping 12.5Kbps ! AND it's freezing up even at that speed ! Oh man this is really winding me up - it's like being back in the dial up days lol. I'm gonna take a chill pill and relax for a bit - maybe things will be better later
