WTS: Webproxy - $6/day - Low BIN

I'm here today to sell one of my most successful proxy sites. Let's go to the details -

The site was started on the 22nd of August. It has been extensively promoted using both free and paid methods (although only around $8 has been spent on paid methods). Only the buyer will get all details pertaining to promotion.

Traffic:

I'm sorry, Awstats has been disabled on the server and I can offer you no separate traffic stats. Please refer to the Adsense impressions to get an idea about the traffic.

Revenue:

Beyondschool has been quite a successful proxy. It's bringing in ~$6 per day on weekdays and ~$3 per day during weekends. As you guys know, schools have recently started in the US and proxies are in great demand

Only the index page has been monetized with Adsense. No ads are currently placed in the proxified pages. If the site falls into the right hands, I'm pretty sure that pulling in at least ~$2-$5 per day from these proxified pages isn't hard at all. You could also sell text links on it.

The proxy is sold at BIN price(120$) to Bourne Ultimatist... Payment yet to be recieved..
If the payment is not done in 12 hours .. The it goes to the next highest bidder 3rb0 or who ever who bids more..

 

Guys - I fear I have been well and truly RIPPED OFF on this one. The proxy is getting ten impressions per day, and $0.00 in revenue... this is a proxy that was promised $6 per day, if not more. In essence I have paid $120 for a dud. The original owner doesn't seem to care - first he told me to go ahead with a chargeback and see what happens if I wanted a refund, next he said he will promote it but I don't see any improvements.

I will update the thread if anything happens but at the moment it is not looking good.

 

bourne ultimatist - i feel sorry for that you face such problem. Just remember..there is no proxy who made 6$ daily to be sold for 120$. that is 180$ month...and price 120$ bin.wow..if i have this proxy i will sold at last for 250$

 

I think it's best to file a claim with PayPal at this stage..

there is no claim for intangible goods and services

paypal will close the matter on end date without any solution

 

Can't they get the money back from the person's credit card or something if they see that the seller was trying to rip off the customer?

 

they dont interfere in matters where physical goods are not involved and only intangible goods and services are involved

atleast the domain is page rank 4 so that the buyer wont have to work much hard to get the visitors as he can create a good network with pr4 proxy easily within a month

 

mmm.. the site is PR4 and it seems to have plenty of backlinks.. Furthermore, its one week alexa rank average is less than 1million.. Doesn't this tell us that there must be some visitors to the site (and revenue ofcourse)?

 

interesting.. I would think so? I've even seen this on top sites.. seems kinda iffy to me... hmm... I know i've even used the proxy before in my... random.. things I do with proxies
