[WTS] PR5 Bidding Web Directory

Hi guys,

After much thinking about it, I finally decided to put my PR 5 bidding web directory up for sale.

No, it's not because of the performance - it's doing pretty well actually. This month alone, it has made USD 118 (per May 04, 2008).

As a low approximate revenue is USD 200/month.

Bid starts at USD 800. BIN is USD 4000. Reserve is quite high, so bid only if you are a serious bidder.

I have other offline projects that need money to invest in, hopefully from the sales of my bid directory. However, if it's not sold, I'm more than happy to keep it and improve it.

Thanks! My bid directory is a good, producing, directory - And the top bidder are still below $50 - so, it's pretty much everybody's game right now - chances to be in the top 10 are still wide open, which means more appeals to potential bidders

I have a reserve in mind - So, anyone bid over my reserve will get the dir. However I'm not planning to publicise the reserve price.

When the auction ends, I hold the right to agree or refuse your bid. Your rep in DP is also a strong consideration.

All I can inform is that the current bid of $800 is not even close to the reserve price Keep on bidding!

Well, you never know, really - Would it be a difference if I told you that my bid dir, this month, has already passed the $200/month approximate income I mentioned?

Anyway, I'm pretty much happy to hold to my dir if I can't get decent offer.

Just to inform, I will not sell less than my reserve price, which is in the thousands.

So, I have full right to reject any bid lower than the reserve price.

I also consider your rep, either at DP or sitepoint dot com - So going for the bin doesn't guarantee you winning the auction, if I feel that your rep is not convincing

@ rickyou - revenue source is link bid placements and link sales. Although my bid dir is not banned by AdSense, it's not a good idea to put AdSense in bid directories - bad practice, according to the authority bid directory owners.

It still on the debate though - There are bid dirs that still have adsense on their dirs (particularly in the non-PHPLB based dir)
