Maybe I am a little off my rocker. I am looking for no more than 10 people to take me up on this offer. I will provide managed services for you on my dedicated box for $15 per month. You will get 1/10 of the resources on the box as it will be split 10 ways. So other than that you can put as many domains on there as you wish. Now I am not going to setup your domains for you (the server is running ISPConfig 3), but if you need help installing a script or making changes to PHP or Apache or .htaccess files or whatever else it may be that you are having issues with or do not know how to handle I will handle it for you. Now I am not completely nuts so there is a limit to four different "major" issues per month. In other words you will get about an hour of time from me per month for that $15 per month. This will not accumulate, once the month is up you lost the time. This will be billed at 15 minute intervals. Let me know if you want to take me up on your offer by PM. Any questions feel free to ask.
Sure, its pretty simple though. Most hosting companies just give you hosting. You have to figure out all that complicated stuff that no one really wants to deal with mostly. Half the time you end up paying someone else to install that script or whatever you need to get your site working. I am basically offering personalized service. All you guys out there who do not know how to SSH into a box and extract a script and configure it properly is who this service is geared towards. Those little things that just get in the way of your internet marketing campaigns.
I think people are confused about way you are phrasing this. What he is offering is this, he will rent a dedicated server, he will install and manage Linux build on it. He will split the server for 10 people at $15/month. This will be a very barebone Linux box without any management software such as Cpanel / WHM / Plesk and others. He will keep the OS secure, run all the updates, fixes and will offer you 1 hour of help per month with whatever issues you might have. My question is what kind of server will it be, what kind of support are you going to have for it, is someone monitoring it 24/7?
