Why don't you go to link sales forum and leave a reply on all the threads say that there are several free software packages that provide high page rank links and ask them why charge for the link?
I think people selling links are providing a service. My comment was simple, there are software packages (that are free) and sites that would permit a user to type in a keyword and they will be provided sites (sorted but both PR and alexa rank) where they can post a link. It's even sophisticated enough to differentiate between follow and no follow. So my point is why not just point the people to the software / site. OR sell link building and provide an actual service. You are selling something that one can obtain for FREE. Why not just help ?
