[WTS] Huge Proxy Network - 89 Sites - Over 6,000 Visitors Daily!

Discussion in 'Sites' started by Acejam, Mar 23, 2009.

  1. #1
First off, I'd like to start by saying that I'm a very experienced webmaster, and have a large portfolio of successful sites. I don't have time to nickel and dime. Offers for $150 from 13 year olds will be ignored. This network is best suited for someone who knows how to run proxies, and is familiar with them.

The steps taken to transfer this network is crucial, as any downtime can lead to possible traffic declines. Therefore, it must be done seamlessly. Essentially, this can be done by transferring the files to the buyer, changing my nameservers to the buyer's, and THEN transferring the domain names. This way, the end user will either see my site, or yours. (once you have it up and working of course) Considering 50% of my traffic is direct, I think it's best done this way.

    ==========================================================

    Details:

    Large Proxy Network
    89 Different Domains
    Site runs on Glype 1.1
Many of these domains have PR

Currently receive anywhere from 5000 to 8000 visitors a day. (all sites combined) I've done extensive promotion of these sites.

Essentially I have a cPanel account setup on my server. Within this account, I have 1 actual website, and have the remaining 88 domain names parked, pointing to my primary domain, exis.info.

I've implemented multiple revenue sources over the months that I've had this network. I've used Global Interactive, Mediashakers, Canep Media, and Adbrite. I've also used Adsense, but only on the homepage, as it's against Google's TOS to run Adsense ads on proxified pages.

From Adsense alone, I make anywhere from $3-8 a day. Although this is ONLY from the homepage alone. I've been with Canep Media and GI for quite some time, and therefore my CPM's are a bit higher than the normal user.

Optimally I'd like to transfer over the sites using the method I descirbed above, to enusre 100% uptimate. Certain details such as footer and page links will need to remain in tact, in order to ensure that the sites continue to be listed on various proxy listing sites. (receiprocal links)

Currently I'm hosting this network on a single dedicated server with the following specs:

    Intel Core2Quad Q9300
    8 GB RAM
750 GB SATA (hardly used much space though, not even 200 MB, mostly log files)
    CentOS 5.2 w/ WHM & cPanel
    1 Dedicated IP
    10 Mbit Unmetered Connection
Uses about 650 GB - 1TB of bandwidth per month

I've included some screenshots below of various details. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

The only form of payment that I will accept is Paypal.

I'm open to offers, though I'm currently looking for something in the $x,xxx range. This is an amazing deal as it has a very stable stream of traffic, including 50% direct traffic. (meaning, they remember the site name, and come back after having a posititve browsing experience)

Sorry fellas. But if you read my description, you'd see that I'm not really accepting any offers under $x,xxx.

I'm asking a lot for this network because the traffic is very high quality. The network gets easily 6,000 visitors a day. When put into the right hands, you can make hundreds if not thousands per month. (I know I did! :D)

I've received a private bid of $300 via PM. Looking for a lot more though.

I'm in no rush to sell, and will wait until the correct offer comes around.

then you have to wait a LOT. Here in dp forum is hard to sell something above 1k$+ the more as proxies..Proxies usually are sold for 1-3 months revenue depend quality, earnings and more factors of sites. You must be happy if u get 3x revenue offer.
if u really think that you can sell this proxy network for XXXX+ then go to sitepoint.. just give you advice..not hijack your thread..

All domains are registered through Godaddy. From what I can remember, 95% of them expire in November 09. (some longer)

Thanks for the insight. As a datapoint, if I were to sell this network for $1500, that would be less than 3 months revenue. :D

    $68 from adsense this month...

    It is the 24th

    = $2.83 daily on average.

    7 days remaining in March

    7 x $2.83 = $19.81

    $68 + $19 = less than $100/month

    3 months x >$100 = >$300

You are saying $1500 is less than 3 months revenue. According to what I have just done, it equals less than $300. 89 websites earn less than $100/month. That is barely $1/month per website. Basicly we're buying dry domains with barely any advertisement. And please pm me details of this other $1200< for 3 onths revenue please.

    Thanks, Tristan G.

    Hey Tristan,

I brielfly touched on this in my 1st post. You might've missed it, but I will repost what I said and explain it in more detail for you.

I only have Adsense on the homepage. This page is only viewed once by each end-user. The proxified pages are where the real pageviews come in. (average of 6.89 pageviews per visitor)

Let's take a quick look, using the current daily average of 56,000 pageviews per day. (from the Webalizer screenshot in the 1st post)

    56000 / 1000 = 56

    Ad #1: 56 x 0.08 = 4.48
    Ad #2: 56 x 0.13 = 7.28
    Ad #3: 56 x 0.17 = 9.52

That's an average daily income of $21.28.

Take $21.28, and multiply that by 30 days. $638.40

This is a simple example with only 3 different ad types. I'm not even including Adbrite's full-page ad's. (which are anywhere from ~$0.75 - $1 CPM)

I've been with these ad networks for quite some time, even before I started with this network. Therefore, I've been able to build up my CPM's.

No it's not. I've used several different CPC and CPM revenue sources.

    Some of them include:

    Global Interactive
    Adbrite
    Media Shakers
    Xtend Media
    CPALead
    Chitika
    Canep Media
    FastAds
    Affiliate.com

I've spent countless hours doing promotion for this network. In order to be successful with this network, you really need to know what your doing, and how to run proxies. I can't stress this enough. It's not a set it and forget it type of thing. I've researched and found out for myself which ads work best, and in turn, which make me the most money. I can't directly sell you this knowledge, because each account and individual is different. This is something you'll need to figure out for yourself.

What I can tell you, is that you'll have a proxy network that receives over 6,000 visitors a day, with 50% direct traffic, and a bounce rate of 35%. For someone who can, and knows how to take advantage of this, it's an incredible deal.

What I won't tolerate, is some 13 year old buying this network, and then complaining 2 weeks later when they aren't making any money. Again, you must know what your doing. The buyer assumes all risk, and any sale is final.

Adbrite is definiteily one of my lowest if not the lowest earning network for me. I've been using them on and off, which is why I haven't accumulated much in my account. Unfortunately, Adbrite is one of the networks that will pretty much accept anyone, and therefore the CPM's are very poor. (although their full-page ad's are still great)

Yes, all sites are currently hosted on the same IP. Although it's vesy easy to create a copy of the site files, change the logo text, and host different sites on different IP's.

Sorry for this comment, but you seem to be avoiding proof of revenue. To make a sale on DP people want to see screen shot proof.
