I want to get rid of the site because I'm moving into an affiliate based direct sell business model and this type of huge stie does not suit my needs any longer.

If you look at my iTrader, I have sold off many of my sites and this just happens to be my biggest.

Traffic wise - I saw a large plateu in the summer holidays but it has dropped a little. It is steady now, but after the holidays - it did drop.

I say that out of honesty and also want to say that the forum and email list are growing by the same amount daily as the holidays so the quality is actually higher than before.

The site is pretty database intensive and so needs either a VPS or a dedicated server to operate.

I have been surviving on $75 hosting but that's an unmanaged dedicated server. That cost may increase with a more sophisticated setup which maybe needed with the buildup to Christmas.

I do not spend anything on PPC or any advertising. All expenses include:

Where does your traffic come from?

Your Alexa rank doesnt reflect your suggested traffic and i cant find the site via search engines using webkinz as a search term?

The site also needs PHP, MYSQL to run and is currently hosted on a Linux Apache server. The site is hosted at Hostgator currently.

I know that I cannot sell the site purely on the effort I invested, but I want to push the fact that this is generating revenue and so is a worthwhile investment.

The current bid of $260 makes the ROI for the bidder at 200% for the first month, going by last months rev - which is obviously a figure that I'm not comfortable with considering the time I invested into this.

It's a growing community and is going to pull more and more revenue and users month after month. An investment of just $1200 right now would mean 100% ROI after just 3 months, which is Christmas.

I can see this site growing tremendously in the months leading up to Christmas which is why I am hoping soemone sees the value in such a property.

I have to agree with imallyours. It looks exceedingly nice, however in all honesty, I'm slightly worried about the drop in traffic. Not saying that it isn't still an excellent website, but if traffic stays level, the monthly revenue might be closer to $100/mo or less rather than the $200/mo history. The $75/mo screenshots you showed still had a large amount of traffic for the first two weeks. I would definately bid more than the $260, but not at the 800 level you are asking.
