    I think you might find the above is not correct. With the exception of the Canary Islands (they are still Duty FREE islands), Spain, like the rest of the EU has no Duty Free allowances for EU Nationals, purchases within the EU are treated as Duty Paid and therefore providing you can prove goods are for your personal use there is in theory no limit

    true hopper, but what about the none EU visitors to the countries? They still have to pay duty, although that was a slight error, thanks for pointing it out :)

    and the bid is already higher than $50 ;)
