    FordMotorForum.com did have a custom skin when I sold it. It looks like the buyer got rid of it when he upgraded to the latest version of VB.

    The site I sold came with an owned VB license, VBSEO, over 2050 registered members, and over 75,000 posts. There was also -some- activity.

    You have 566 members on your forum 7300 posts and your forum is totally dead. You aren't even including an owned VB license.

    2050 registered members for a site thats been around for 6+ years is pretty much the same as AWDforums.com. Plus with Ford in the domain name is a potential law sue waiting to happen.

    The domain is not a potential law suit. You have no idea what you are talking about. Do you think fordforum.com fordforums.com would still be up if Ford cared? Or fordmotorforum for 6 years?

    Your site is worth about $500.

    Don't try to act like you know. They didn't get sued, that doesn't mean it won't happen. I know for a fact that there's a popular Porsche forum with Porsche in the domain name got sued. You'll get sue now or later if you try to profit with a trade mark.

    AWDforums is apprisal for $1,020, thats not even include custome design, search engine ranking, SEO, VB mods and etc,.

    topdaytrader- I would expect nothing less from you. Your response is partially the reason that you will never sell this site... price being the other of course.

    As for my 'rating', I have bought a bunch of sites and sold a couple here. I am not concerned about my DP rating. All of my transactions have gone very smoothly with no complaints at all.

    I will agree with you that there is a SLIGHT chance that a site owner could run into problems with a manufacturer over the rights to their name. I think the odds of that happening as soooo slim, I would never worry about it. Why would Ford want to disband a community of users loyal to their products? It would make no sense.

    Either way, you are continuing to make a fool of yourself here with such comments. You obviously think very highly of yourself and your site. You should probably just close this thread and move on.... maybe spend some time working on your site so that some day it will be work over $1000.

    No one cares what your awdforum has been appraised at. I have bought and sold several forums (automotive and others). Based on what I see and what you are including (or not) in the sale I think it's worth about $500.

    Those appraisal sites are crappy. Do you really think that your site can get that kind of money.

    I sold my sites for usually 2/3 or 1/2 or even 1/4 of appraisals.

    Please do not ask machines for what your sites are worth. They cant pay $ :)

    Ask the community or go to appraisal section at DP before making up random BINS.

    You frequently went up and down with the BIN. You are not consistent, does not back up your stuff, and you frequently scare off potential buyers (such as me).

    Good Luck Sir with your site.

    Quite frankly i will not pay over $200 for your site.

    Reasons:

    1. 3 Year domain and still PR0. Must have some crazy traffic going on.
    2. You claim you are growing fast. Alexa says otherwise.
    Awdforums.com has a traffic rank of: 1,178,995 (down 259,730)
    3. No updated Content. (Theres only couple of 2008 posts.)
    4. With 1k+ you are not including the VB license. GG mate.
