I don't need to make up stories to sell my site. I already got many offers for $1,000 and none of them ask this kind of non-sense question to waste my time. Many people build their own site w/o spending a penny. Does that mean their site is worthless? Obviously you don't know what you're buying here. Like I said, I'm not interested selling this site to people who just want to flip this site for profit. You won't find any forum like this for sale around my price range. Don't try to show me those worthless warez forums.

There's also a lot of mods on the fourm. You can embeded videos from all popular video sites, Adsense, VBgarage and etc,.

 

Topdaytrader. . . I think your valuation of the site is way off base. Those banners are worthless.
The problem with your forum is it's D E A D. And therefore has no value other than the software license for VB and the domain which might be worth the cost of registration unless you find someone who REALLY REALLY wants to start up a forum for All Wheel Drive Cars. . . you will never sell it or what you are asking.

 

Why dont you find a forum like this for sale around my price range? If can't backup your words, then stop trolling here.

Search AWD forum or AWD forums on google Or search All Wheel Drive Forums on Yahoo. Guess which site is rank #1?
People spend tens of thousand of dollars to get #1 search engine placement.
If you've time and have knowledge about cars, then you can easily turn this site into cash cow. I don't care if I can't find a good buyer, the money this site making right now already cover the expense.


For those who trolls on this thread, please show me a forum for sale in the same price range that have:
1. Rank #1 on major search engines.
2. Domain name thats related to the forum and easy to remeber keywords. (I've couple ppl offer me $500+ just for the domain name.)
3. Custome design graphics & banners + VB mods.
4. Been around for 3+ years.
5. Appraisal for $1,866+

I was one of the guys originally interested in the site because I think it has potential. Of course it was the price that kept me away... and I received pretty short and cold responses from the seller. That was enough to turn me off.

That being said, I have followed this thread and watched the site for many months now. The site is still pretty dead, but has a nice base for someone to start an automotive site/forum. It doesn't look like the present owner has done anything at all to grow the site since it was first listed. It does rank #1 in google for the two target keywords which is a plus. My feeling is that those two keywords aren't searched overly much. If I own an STi, then Im searching for an STi or Subaru forum.

I'd love to see some stats posted concerning traffic, traffic sources, income, etc .... but the seller refuses to do so. Saying you have bids for $1000 won't make me anymore interested in the site.... some HOT stats will bring me to the table though.

topdaytrader- Good luck with your sale. If you choose to post some real stats and answer questions in a reasonable manor, I think you could sell the site...
