Today I am offering you great YouTube downloader at http://www.downloadfromyoutube.info/

It has been up an operational for about 3+months but was never really promoted anywhere. Even than the site has already a PR1 and attracts about 20-30 UV on daily basis.

The domain has been registered with GoDaddy (ie. free push available) and expires in July 2008.

The site features unique design and runs both AdBrite and AdSense with only few dollars in earnings thus far. I believe that to the right owner this could be a nice little cashcow.

I am starting this auction at $1!

So let me sum it up - for $1 start I am putting here for auction:
    - keyword rich domain name (only registration cost would set you back $2.99)
    - audience of about 20-30 visitors daily
    - few dollars of earnings a month AS IS (if you promote you WILL get more of course) ie. the auction starts lower than you get back in first month
    - attractively uniquely designed web page

Anything I forgot? Ask me here I will gladly attend to any questions.

Do you have BIN in mind?

How long are you running the auction for?

chimaera15: No BIN in mind as yet. I will leave the auction to run its course for a while. you can pm me your offer if you like tho ;)

Oh rly? Would you pls be able to provide some reliable sources confirming this?

The facts to me known are that:
    1. this site is up and operational for over 3 months (i think that is well after Google's YouTube acquisition) and as you can see the AdSense is still being displayed there
    2. i know of at least 3 other similar sites (i haven't really looked that hard) which also have been running AdSense for ages
    3. banning a site from adsense imho is a myth; a person/entire account can get banned but one site only? from google's search results yes from adsense i do not think so
    4. there are always another PPC programs; my site is not built as adsense only dependent

It's been continously reported by people that run the sites

Google has decided that My Youtube Download Site is no longer valid for the adsense program. If you don’t know what a youtube downloader is, its a very simple site that lets you download videos from youtube instead of watching the videos stream from the site. The benefit of this is that you have the video on your computer to watch anytime you want without having to go to youtube and look for the video. The site was a nice little earner, as you can see here it was earning more money with adsense than my online arcade site.

The clicks on this site believe it or not were very high paying ones, and $1+ clicks were nothing out of the ordinary with this site.

As you may know I have had my Google adsense account banned once, but was one of the lucky few people to get it reinstated. I don’t know what I did, but now the Google people are cool with me, and if there is every anything wrong with my account they let me know in advance.

Take the fact that I was click bombed on one of my proxies by a malicious person a few weeks ago, I actually got a call from within the Googleplex to let me know what was going on, and what I could do to make things better. In the end, I just disabled the proxy for a few hours and put it back up later on. Problem Solved.

Luckily Google contacted me and told me that the ads from the site were going to be disables.

There goes that nice little earner of mine, I guess I will just have to ad some azoogle and try to profit from that.

Good info, thanks for that. It seems like cut and paste from some other post of yours/some other putner over here as opposed to a factual Google info but I will go with that.

From that actual email from Google I can see that:
    a) "you are currently displaying Google ads in a way". So without knowing the sites actual layout I would say AdSense could have been displayed next to the pics, colored same as other advertiser or some other disallowed way of showing.
    b) the email does not implicitly states that "web of this nature is not allowed to show AdSense".

    See the difference?

Further to the point - since the Google people are so nice I would also expect a similar type of "yellow card email" from them since my site has been up for over 3+ months. The fact is I have never received any such email to date.

And lastly - there is life after Google AdSense right? A large number of other PPC programs can used to earn some money from the site auctioned here.

For the purpose of this auction I may just change the entire PPC setup to Bidvertisers for time being and let the new owner decide how he/she wants to run the things I guess.

Hi there. What is this site like to edit and maintain. I am a newbie to website ownership and have limited skills. When are you ending this auction, is it going to be a $point eg reserve met or BIN offered or a date and time end? Cheers Viv

I never thought one little bargain priced auction would spark such difficulties here. Hence I am no longer going to engage in discussions regarding AdSense being allowed or not, I feel I have stated my points about this clearly in my previous posts.

And in order to keep this on topic of the actual auction, you may have noticed that the site now features Bidvertiser ads only - the new owner will need to decide what kind of PPC services (if any) will be used.

More importantly since this auction was about to die out I am now very close to selling this site to a PM offerer (subject to payment); apologies to all the bidders here.

Thank you all for your interest,

    jkoll
