If I had the money I would definetly buy. I love Diablo and I have been to the main page of Diablo3Talk.com a lot because I keep typing it in to see if anything will happen with it. That was before even hearing you owned it.

 

Rhin, makes me happy . I'm a huge fan as well, was so happy the game was finally announced (before my domains expired!).

I had big plans for the project, but you know how life is, and with my job + new opportunities + my relative inexperience with forum-based communities, I decided I had to let this go into better hands.

WOW I half expected a bid that high would be a scammer but this is terrible. He won't be able to run his forum without being shunned though. I will have bots at his forum none stop that is if he uses the domain.

Now all you can do is make sure he doesn't sell the domain on another forum and try to get his address and name, SitePoint is legally binding you can sue if you find out these things.

Thanks to everyone. I had other bids a bit lower but definitely legitimate, wish I would have went with them.

I'm willing to rebrand the logo for a similar domain thats available and sell the assets if anyone is willing. Trust me, I've been trying to get this guy with everything I have but I think he may have slipped away now that the site is down.

I truly think this guy thought he could just set up the site and never pay. He was posting in the forums and trying to get members... really sad. Can't believe I'm dealing with this..

Interesting it's in Vancouver. What would it take to get a court order to contact his ISP and get his info?

Contacted SitePoint numerous times but they seem to have incredibly slow response times. I'm awaiting their reply.
