Totally ridiculous, but the previous seller did not disclose this to me and I did not do my due diligence. I would recommend using the free script mentioned above, but the choice is yours to make.

The html portion of the site is static, and the site accepts uploads automatically. The directory that the images are uploaded to can be cleared out if you want, but must be done manually. You need to have a Google Adsense account to replace the existing code.

I have been buying websites since July 2010 and have gotten burned a number of times. There are lots of scammers out there and nothing offends me more than dishonest people who try to sell crap. 1 - The Website Domain Name - AddImg.com domain name has a value of $50 because: 1) its a short, snappy name; 2) its age according to the Internet Wayback machine is over six years old. Valued at $50.00

2 - The Website Product - The underlying script is original and has some HTML5 features which works in non-IE browsers. It is pretty neat but the fact that it does not work with IE is a serious problem. Valued at $0.00.

3 - The Website Traffic, Revenue, and Profit - This site is considered to be untapped as far as SEO and marketing efforts. The PageRank of the website is 0. It has minimal traffic and no revenue or profit. Valued at $0.00.

4 - The Unknown Factors - All websites and businesses are governed by the Unknown. These could be the things in your control and things outside of your control. An example of something outside of your control is the price of the clicks revenue you get. Don't let anybody tell you that you can control this. You cannot. The advertising marketplace is based on what advertisers are prepared to pay and the interest of your audience to click on the banner. All you can control is the quality of your site. Also, the internet is changing all of the time, so running any website will require some adjustment to strategy to keep relevant. The things you can control is the future potential of this product. Why Sell?
============================

Two reasons: Debt and Time. I am undertaking a huge home renovation and need to free up some of my debt to help make this happen. Because I work full time, have a family, and am running a half dozen other websites, I really don't have the time or energy to make this site succeed.

Costs:

There are effectively zero running costs. This site runs with my VPS that is shared by my other sites. A shared web hosting plan was used before without any problems. The domain name will need to be renewed for about $10 in 2012 and every year after.


Time/Expertise Requirement:
=============================

Just like any website, the amount of time you spent could be limitless. Currently the website requires five minutes a month to clean out images that are older than 30 days via Filezilla.

I am lowering the asking price to $25 - despite two attempts to submit the site to Google, it has not been indexed yet and I have no idea when it will happen if ever. I guess the previous owners of the domain thing did some not so nice black hat stuff to get the Google to hate the URL. PM if you are interested.
