$8K is about 11 months of revenue. Does the site make $700 every month for the last 11?

Can you send traffic details and refferals stats?

 

Ive had this website with Adsense for over a year. Also, if you are scared of that, why do you want the stats?

 

I had limited adsense on it until a month ago. Until then the site was making $5 a day on adsense, but once I changed the placement and made it look part of the website it has been making at least $16 a day (sometimes it goes up to $27 a day too).

I put the new formation of adsense about 1 month ago. So for the month before the new adsense setup it was making about $350 a month, but now it is making $700 or more.

I also added a Game Script to the website (Arcade Games)($150 value) 2 weeks ago which is another potential income. I haven't promoted it anywhere, it gets the traffic from the Wallpaper website alone.

I understand $8000 is not pocket change, but you can't expect to buy a website/business and make the money back in 6 month or so. I might have sold it for 6 month revenue if i needed the money, but fortunately I don't, so I won't sell it for less than $8000.

If I don't get that offer here, I will put it on sitepoint in couple weeks (by then the Adsense stats are more reliable too and people will be more interested.

 

Another point is that i haven't really tried to monetize the website that much.

I'm sure you can look into putting some CPA ad that pays just for number of views and the website gets over 1.5 million page views a month. With $0.05 for each 1000 views (again fairly low number) thats additional $75 a month for each banner. So put 2 banners and you have $150 more a month.

If you don't like using adsense on the website you can use AdBrite, Yahoo Ads, or anything else.

Almost all the visitors are male (based my own polls on the website). You can always ad adult affiliates to the website (I just don't want to get involved with that industry myself).

Bottom line, the website makes good money now and has potential to make twice as much or more. So I don't think $8000 is too much by any means.

I've had the website for over a year and half.

If you look at the previous posts, I've explained the revenue in the past year.

I will post an actual SitePoint auction this coming weekend and will post all the screen shots and everything too.
