I started a new campaign yesterday and I figured I'd go give it a click and see that everything was working.

It sent me to http://www.freepowerboards.com/?gclid=CIGVnoejvYYCFQFKH which give a page error.

Why do they do this and could this be why no stats show? I've clicked on at least 4 of the ads I pay for and it hasn't logged one yet. (yes, on adwords not adsense, I know SOMEONE will come in here saying "you can't click your own ads" in adwords, you can...)

Google Adwords Reports are updated regularly, as you can see in the link below, you can use this new report to see how your campaign performs.

    https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=40037

You see the /?glcid=XXXXXXXXXXXX, thats called a parameter, it identifies to Google a click has originated from your sponsored ads. Usually, it should not give you an error. Just to confirm that, i clicked on that link and it took me to http://www.freepowerboards.com

Have you considered looking at your CMS script to see if that's what's breaking your page? The gclid is used for tracking purposes but shouldn't ever affect your site (nor should you notice it 99% of the time).

(is this chris207 from seb's forums? Hi, it's Art :D)
