    I've divided my new page into a table grid with 10 <td>'s with width 70.

    I put in this test code:

David is the man who can
</td>
<td colspan="9" align="center">
David is the man who can
</td>
    Code (markup):
    In the colspan="9", the size of the table cell is right, but the text stays within an area of 70 pixels (skipping lines after the 70 pixels is exceeded), not the whole thing....

    oops - me forgot to change something in the style sheet. :p :eek:

    sorry about all that. When I'm convinced something should work and it doesn't I pull my hair out over it.
