Hi, One of my clients is interested in a new website. Their current website was designed and created fairly poorly and a lot of mistakes were made. It will require – o Full design (I would rather have the same person design and create the website) o Effective stock control system (the stock control system that is in place currently works, but doesn’t meet my clients’ needs. The stock control system has to be extremely effective and this should be at the forefront of your quote) o Credit card processing o Fully functional CMS / backend area o There are a lot of product images and descriptions on the current website that would need to be transferred over, ideally, with the click or two of a button A detailed specification, including design requirements (such as colours, etc) and details about the stock control system and backend area (there are certain points that need to be included) will be provided before work commences. This is not a definite go ahead project. Budget is limited, so I’m looking for estimates. However, I’m under no illusions that quality costs money and therefore would look for additional funds for the right person, if their initial quote was above the budget. As budget is limited, I would favour those who can provide, where possible, some form of payment scheme. For example, 50% of the total cost once the work has been completed, then monthly payments paid by some means of Direct Debit / Standing Order.
