When do we get to vote on some of these laws that come out of no where - this could be very bad for some affiliate marketers and folks who are trying to do the Pay Per Post thing...

So what does this mean? Can my site be affected by this? I pay members to complete offers, trials, and surveys.

I don't think internet stuff will be affected by this, because after all the persuasive/promotional material is visible on a web site.

I read it as...say you did a Pay Per Post blog post and talked about a product, you will now be required to put some piece of text or something that tells folks that you are doing it on behalf of that company.

Like they do at the end of a political commercial - you know that little: "This ad was paid for by..." audio snippet.

I would think you would be required to do this even if you honestly liked and used the product yourself...that is why I think this is BS - just another way for lawyers to make some cash!

Maybe it will affect those webmasters in America, for me it's nothing.
