WTH Someone Who Could Sort Out My Meta Tags

I am looking for someone to take a look at my meta tags & tell me whats wrong with them & to sort them out if poss. Please let me know what you would charge as i havent got much but i do expect to pay the best i can for this. Well i have bin told they are too long & all wrong for search engine's & they dont really sit right with the site. Like the discription etc . All in all i am confused with them as i have bin told they are all wrong & need changeing but some have also told me they don't matter anymore & to leave them so i dont know which way to go cheers.

But what benifit would i get from getting them done if any . I dont want to create any hassel if its not going to do anything or wreck all the work i've done in the last 4 months cheers.
