Ok, first off it is not necessary for you to do both. If you can only do one, that is fine, and another person can do the other. *Plugins should be compatible with the most recent versions of wordpress 2.6.x I need this built because, all others that do these things are out of date First plugin: I need to be able to filter the categories that show on the sidebar (wp_list_cats) on all of the different types of pages (ex. is_archive, is_single, is_category, etc.) Also there does need to be an admin interface and it should look similar to Category Visibility iPeat rev http://www.ipeat.com/?page_id=91 The same filter needs to also be applied to pages (wp_list_pages) This plugin needs to be compatable with My Page Order http://geekyweekly.com/mypageorder And Category Order http://wpguy.com/plugins/category-order/ Second plugin: This plugin is pretty much an updated version of Category Page http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/page2cat/ I need it to have all the functionality of Category Page plus the ability for nothing to show up at all if I have no page designated for that category (Category Page does not do that) Another main thing I would like it to be able to do, is auto generate the pages (on categories i so choose), which basically means that I want it to be able to use templates (that I can easily set and change) for the category pages, and be able to filter and replace things in there, such as list of posts in that category and category description, etc. here is like an example of what I would like it to be able to generate automatically: http://www.zomganime.com/anime/bleach/ So pls PM if interested need quote and turn around time thanks! *Payment will be via paypal, once the job is completed and to my satisfaction
as the owner of zomganime i'd like to tell you that I am not using any plugins on my category page. i just edited the category template manually . oh actually i might be using the category images plugin but that is not needed if all your images are the same image format.
btw thanks for that info and also still looking for sumone to create the category filter plugin for me!
you can just do if is_archive and then make a list manually without using the wp_list_categories function.
i know, but im not for doing manual things in wordpress, id rather just have a plugin with nice admin interface btw also got my category page workin just fine with just coding the page! i sent u the pm
